Jake’s playing is strongly rooted in the Be Bop/Hard Bop idiom.
His latest band -
boasts a line up of some of the top names on the UK jazz scene.
Jake has played lead alto
with the legendary Motown group the Four Tops.
He has also performed in musicals up and down the country
as well as London’s West End
and composed various pieces of music for television.

Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones.
Being so versatile, John is equally at home
with any type of music,
and his innovative and sensitive playing has made him a firm favourite
with all audiences, especially on the jazz scene.

Tim Kliphuis

Tim Kliphuis ranks among the world’s finest jazz violinists.
Since he embarked on a solo career in 2004,
Kliphuis has performed with
such world-
as Les Paul, Bob Wilber, Herb Geller,
Bucky Pizzarelli and Stochelo Rosenberg.
He has played jazz festivals all over the world.

Mike Hope (tenor sax) with the Mike Reynolds Trio

Mike studied music at Leeds University. A few dates with the
Syd Lawrence Orchestra led to four years work on the show "The Rat Pack" including a West End run at the Haymarket and Savoy theatres.
In recent years Mike has worked with Jack Jones, Matt Monro Junior,
John Wilson and the Halle Orchestra.
He is also a member of the Empress Orchestra
which plays for the British and World Dance Championships.
He joined the Syd Lawrence Orchestra as first tenor in October 2006 .
